Mary (Polly) CLARK
c. 1786-1854

Mary (Polly)2 CLARK (John1) was born to John CLARK and Mary (Polly) ROBINSON, circa 1786[1] probably in Bedford as it has been documented that siblings born before and after her were born in there.   

She married Ezra BOTSFORD[2] on 6 April 1817 at Cayuga County, New York, son of Ezra BOTSFORD and Elisabeth Ann Harpin ANDREW.[3]  Ezra had been previously married.  He and his first wife, now deceased, had eight children.[4] 

Ezra is not found in the 1820 census.  In 1830, Ezra BOTSFORD is living at Sennet Township, Cayuga County, New York[5] and in 1840, in Granger, Allegany County, New York.[6]  In 1850, still in Granger, is Ezra H. BOTSFORD, age 76; Polly, age 62; and Cornelia, age 23.[7]   

Polly died on 4 Sep 1854, probably at Granger, Allegany County, New York.  She was buried at Short Tract Cemetery, Granger, Allegany County, New York as is her mother.[8]    

Children of Mary (Polly)2 CLARK and Ezra BOTSFORD were as follows:

i.    Mabel Jane3 BOTSFORD was born on 10 Aug 1819.  She died on 26 Apr 1838 at age 18.  She was buried at Short Tract Cemetery, Granger, Allegany County, New York.[9]

ii.    Mary Elizabeth BOTSFORD was born on 18 Oct 1825.[10]

iii.    Cornelia BOTSFORD was born on 2 May 1827.[11]
