Johan Ernst FREYE

The FREYE surname is first found in Drakenburg (District of Nienburg, Hannover, Germany) church records in 1720, daughters of Ernst Freye.  The mother was not listed.  

Children of Ernst Freye and Unknown were as follows:

i.    Maria Adelheit Freye was baptized on 20 March 1720.[1]

ii.    Sophie Margaretha Catrina Freye was baptized on 20 September 1725.[2]

There is a gap of 25 years where either no records were kept or the books are missing.  In a period from 1750 through 1758, five children of Johan Ernst, also listed as Ernst FREYE, and Sophia Elisabeth REHLING were baptized. 

Children of Johan Ernst1 FREYE and Sophia Elisabeth REHLING were as follows:

+ i.    Ernst Ludowig or Georg Ludwig2 FREYE was baptized on 12 January 1750.[3]

ii.    Charlotte Wilhelmine Dorothea FREYE was baptized on 24 March 1752.  She died on 16 April 1779, aged 27 years.[4]

iii.    Anna Maria Lucia FREYE was baptized on 13 October 1754.[5]

iv.    Johan Christoph Dietrich FREYE was baptized on 26 September 1756.[6]

 v.    Johan Heinrich Philipp FREYE was baptized on 27 August 1758.[7]
