Arthur Fredrick¹¹ RODEKOHR (Johann Heinrich¹⁰, Johann Friedrich Christoph⁹ RODEKOHR, Johann Christian⁸ RODECURT, Johann Carl Julius⁷, Julius Ernst⁶, Jobst Hinrich⁵, Jobst⁴, Justus³ RODECOURT, Johannes² RODECORD, Jost¹ RODEKORD) was born to Johann Heinrich RODEKOHR and Anna Marie Malinda BRACKMAN, on 27 February 1898 at Alma, Lafayette County, Missouri and was baptized there on 02 March 1898 at Trinity Lutheran Church.[1]   In 1904, his parents moved the family to the area of Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebraska.[2] 

 In 1918, when Art registered for the draft, he was described as being 5’ 9”, medium height, medium build, dark eyes and dark hair.[3]

He married Helena Marie Matilda BRASE on 30 December 1924 at Battle Creek.[4]   From 1920 to 1934, he was Highland Precinct Assessor, Madison County.[5]  In 1930, Arthur and Helen are farming at Highland Precinct, Madison County, with children: Marjorie [sic], (a twin), age 4 3/12; Dorothey [sic] (a twin), age 4 3/12; Helen, age 3 2/12; and Artia [sic], age 1 1/12.[6]  From 1934 to at least 1940, he was Madison County Commissioner.  He raised Poland China hogs and Duroc Jersey cattle.  He was a member of the Battle Creek Band.  He was a Democrat.[7]   

He died in September 1975 at Battle Creek, Madison Co., Nebraska, at age 77.[8]

Helen Marie Matilda BRASE was born on 1 December 1898[9] in Portage, Wisconsin.[10]  She died on 20 August 1994 at Madison, Madison County, Nebraska.[11]

 i. Marjory Ann¹² RODEKOHR, born 24 August 1925, fifteen minutes before her twin, Dorothy Mae, at Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebraska. 

She married Wayne Milton TEGELER on 24 August 1947 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebraska.

Wayne was born on 26 September 1922 at Battle Creek to Walter J. TEGELER and Carolina Wilhelmina (Minnie) PRAEUNER.[12]

Children of Marjory Ann¹² RODEKOHR and Wayne Milton TEGELER all born at Tilden, Antelope County, Nebraska, are as follows:

i.  Larry Wayne¹³ TEGELER was born 17 Mar 1949 at Tilden, Antelope County, Nebraska.  He married Linda Diann WERNER on 22 May 1971 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Battle Creek. 

Children of Larry Wayne¹³ TEGELER and Linda Diann WERNER all born at Tilden, Antelope County, Nebraska, are as follows:

i.  Michelle DeAnn¹⁴ TEGELER was born on 5 January 1976 at Tilden Hospital.

ii. Brian Kent TEGELER was born 23 June 1977 and died 16 May 1997

iii.  Craig Alan TEGELER was born 7 May 1981.

iv.  Ross Martin TEGELER was born 13 March 1985.[13]

ii.   Jane Murial¹³ TEGELER was born 17 September 1952.  She married Patrick Charles SULLIVAN on 18 June 1972 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Tilden, Antelope County, Nebraska

i.  Casey Lee¹⁴ SULLIVAN was born on 19 May 1975

ii.  Kelley Cole SULLIVAN was born on 12 August 1977.[14]

iii.  Lynn Kay¹³ TEGELER was born 28 August 1954.  She married Ronn Steven ZURCHER on 1 March 1975 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Battle Creek.

Children of Lynn Kay¹³ TEGELER and Ronn Steven ZURCHER are as follows:

i.  Sherry Lynn¹⁴ ZURCHER was born on 3 February 1978 at Neligh, Antelope County, Nebraska.

ii.    Katie Beth ZURCHER was born on 5 March 1980 at Neligh, Antelope County, Nebraska.

iii.   Laurel Elizabeth ZURCHER was born on 25 February 1983.

iv.   Erinn Ashley ZURCHER was born 15 September 1986 in Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska.[15]

iii.  John Arthur¹³ TEGELER was born 12 April 1957.  He married Jane Christine HODGSON on 16 August 1980 at Tilden, Antelope County, Nebraska.

Children of John Arthur¹³ TEGELER and Jane Christine HODGSON, all born at Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska are as follows:

i.     Tyler John¹⁴ TEGELER was born on 22 August 1981.

ii.    Joseph Daniel TEGELER was born on 13 August 1984.

iii.    Mitchell Jordan TEGELER was born 6 June 1986.

iv.    Marissa Suzanne TEGELER was born on 5 June 1990.[16]

ii.  Dorothy Mae¹² RODEKOHR, born 24 August 1925 was born on 24 August 1925, a twin to Marjory Ann, at Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebraska.  She married Donald Charles LARSON on 6 July 1952 at Battle Creek.

Children of Dorothy Mae¹² RODEKOHR and Donald Claus LARSON are as follows:

i.  Glenn Donald¹³ LARSON was born 18 May 1953 at Tilden, Antelope County, Nebraska.  He married Jo Ellen BRISTOW on 12 June 1993 at Calvary Bible Church, Henderson, Nebraska.[17]

ii.    Dale Charles¹³ LARSON was born 4 August 1954 at Tilden, Madison County, Nebraska.  He married A. Elaine WILKINS on 5 June 1982 at Dallas, Texas.

Children of Dale Charles¹³ LARSON and A. Elaine WILKINS, all born at Dallas, Texas are as follows:

i.    Laura Ann¹⁴ LARSON was born on 9 February 1985

ii.    Matthew Dale LARSON was born on 4 February 1988

iii.   Brian Daniel LARSON was born on 29m January 1990.[18]

iii. Ann Kathryn¹³ LARSON was born 7 November 1957 at Tilden, Madison County, Nebraska.  She married Murray Donald OSTBERG on 12 August 1978 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Central City, Nebraska.

Children of Ann Kathryn¹³ LARSON and Murray Donald OSTBERG are as follows:

i.  Erin Leigh¹⁴ OSTBERG was born on 6 July 1983 at Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois.

ii.  Lauran Ann OSTBERG was born 7 June 1988 at Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska

iii.  Caitlin Jo OSTBERG was born on 21 December 1990 at Columbus, Platte County, Nebraska.[19]

iv.   Wayne Allen¹³ Larson was born 21 October 1964 at Central City, Merrick County, Nebraska.  He married Janelle Ann WESTERBUHR on 8 September 1990 at Geneva, Nebraska.[20]

v.    Helen Marie¹³ Larson was born 20 June 1966 at Central City, Merrick County, Nebraska.  She married Gary Lee KRICHAU on 10 August 1991 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Central City.

iii.     Helen Marie¹² RODEKOHR was born on 22 January 1927 at Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebraska.  She married Kenneth Eugene WAGNER on 10 November 1949 at Denver, Colorado and were divorced in 1967.

Children of Helen Marie¹² RODEKOHR and Kenneth Eugene WAGNER are as follows:

i.  Allen Scott ¹³ WAGNER was born 10 July 1950 at Denver, Colorado.  He married Donnette Kay OSTBERG on 30 April 1988 at Polk, Nebraska.

ii.    Kent Steven WAGNER was born 26 February 1952 at Albuquerque, New Mexico. [21]

iii.   Patricia (Patti) Lynn¹³ WAGNER was born 9 February 1958 at Dallas, Texas.  She married Mark LYON on 8 August 1987 at Santa Fe, Sante Fe County, New Mexico.  They have a child, Gunner Andrew¹⁴ LYON, born 30 January 1989 at Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, New Mexico.[22]

iv.  Artie Ruth¹² RODEKOHR was born on 27 February 1929 at Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebraska. 

She married Russell H. SUMMERLIN on 4 Nov 1955 at Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.  Russell was born on 8 February 1927 at Tucker, Dekalb County, Georgia to Paul Berry SUMMERLIN and Sarah Susie Angeline NASH.

Children of Artie Ruth¹² RODEKOHR and Russell H. SUMMERLIN are as follows:

i.   John Russell¹³ SUMMERLIN was born 20 January 1957 at Crawford Long Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia.  He married Lisa Ann JOHNSON on 7 September 1991 at Alamo, Contra Costa County, California.  They live in Lafayette, Contra Costa County.[23]

ii.  Robert (Bobby) David¹³ SUMMERLIN was born 10 July 1959.  at Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.  He married Carla Tulla CHENGGIS on 8 December 1985 in Atlanta.

Children of Robert David¹⁴ SUMMERLIN and Carla Tulla CHENGGIS are as follows:

i.  Alexandria Christine¹4 SUMMERLIN was born 23 November 1988 at Northside Hospital, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.

ii.  Keaton Robert SUMMERLIN was born on 26 September 1991 at Northside Hospital.[24]

iii.  Margie Ruth¹⁴ SUMMERLIN was born 6 June 1963 at Crawford Long, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.  She married William Edward WATERLOO on 5 April 1986 at Tucker, Georgia.  They were divorced on 13 August 1987.  She married James (Jimmy) William¹⁵ REYNOLDS on 13 January 1990 at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Tucker, Georgia.[25] .

v.  Annette Audrey¹² RODEKOHR was born on 8 July 1930 at Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebraska.  She married Melvin Julius MILLER on 17 April 1949 at Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebraska.  He was born on 17 June 1929 at Norfolk, Madison County to Julius MILLER and Edna WERTH.[26]

Children of Annette Audrey¹² RODEKOHR and Melvin Julius MILLER all born at Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska, are as follows:

i.  James Arthur¹³ MILLER was born 15 Jul 1950.  He married Judith (Judy) Anne FUNDUM on 24 July 1971 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Battle Creek. 

Children of James Arthur¹³ MILLER and Judith (Judy) Anne FUNDUM all born at Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska, are as follows:

i.    Melissa Anne¹⁴ MILLER was born on 6 August  1975.

ii.    Megan Nicole MILLER was born 16 August 1977.

iii.   Amy Beth MILLER was born 28 November 1979.[27]

ii.    Susan (Sue) Kay¹³ MILLER was born 24 September 1952.  She married Tracy Eugene (Gene) WOOD on 28 August 1976 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Battle Creek.  They have a son, Christopher Eric¹⁴ WOOD, born 15 December 1983 at Birmingham, Alabama.[28] 

iii.   Karyn Jean¹³ MILLER (twin) was born 5 July 1955.  She married Dr. Keith William VRBICKY on 20 May 1978 .at Norfolk, Madison County. 

Children of Karyn Jean¹³ MILLER and Dr. Keith William VRBICKY are as follows:

i.   Michael Keith¹⁴ VRBICKY was born 28 February 1979 at Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.

ii.    Elizabeth Annette VRBICKY was born 6 September 1981 at Omaha.

iii.   Sarah Marie VRBICKY was born 20 December 1982 at Omaha.

iv.    Rachel Leigh VRBICKY was born on 14 November 1988 at Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska.

v.    Keith William VRBICKY, Jr. was born 10 April 1991 at Norfolk.[29]

v.  Karyl Jo¹³ MILLER (twin) was born 5 Jul 1955.  She married Dr. Karl John EISCHEID on 18 Oct 1980 at Norfolk.

Children of Karyl Jo¹³ MILLER and Dr. Karl John EISCHEID are as follows:

i.  Michelle Nicole¹⁴ EISCHEID was born 2 November 1983 at Carroll, Carroll County, Iowa.

ii.    Brian Karl EISCHEID was born 17 June 1985 at Carroll County, Iowa.

iii.   Jordan Karl EISCHEID was born 21 March 1989 at Omaha and died on 14 December 1990 at Omaha.[30]      

v.    Mary Beth¹³ MILLER was born 28 Nov 1958.  She married Scott Dennis JOHNSTON on 18 August 1979 at Battle Creek.  They were divorced circa 1986.  She then married Kevin Paul GARRISON on 5 September 1987 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Modesto, Stanislaus County, California.[31]

vi.  Marcy Lee¹² RODEKOHR was born on 8 August 1931 at Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebraska.  She married James BARTEE on 10 Nov 1952 at Ohio.

Children of Marcy Lee¹² RODEKOHR and James BARTEE are:

i.    James Monrow¹³ BARTEE was born 29 Apr 1966 at Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska and adopted by Marcy and Jim on 4 May 1966.[32]

vii.  John David (Bud)¹² RODEKOHR was born 16 October 1932 at Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebraska.  Bud married Donna Lou Hester (SEBOTKA) DELARM 28 November 1964 at Battle Creek.  Donna had been married previously and had three children that were adopted by Bud on 25 April 1968

Children of John David¹² RODEKOHR and Donna Lou Hester (SOBOTKA) DELARM are as follows:

i.    Timothy DeWayne¹³ (DELARM) RODEKOHR was born 20 March 1959 at Columbus, Platt Co., Nebraska.  He married Renee FUERHOFF 20 April 1991 at Battle Creek.

ii.    Kathern Marie (DELARM) RODEKOHR was born 23 September 1960 at Columbus, Platt Co., Nebraska.  She married Steve KRUSE 28 May 1978.  He died on 26 April 1986 in a motorcycle accident.

iii.   David Ray (DELARM) RODEKOHR was born 13 February 1963 at Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska.  He married and divorced Sherry MARGARET DIECKMAN.  He married Vickie Lynn SCHULZKUMP 3 July 1990 at Madison, Madison County.[33]

viii.  Joan Kathryn¹² RODEKOHR was born on 12 October 1935 at Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebraska.  She married Rev. Gerald Victor FREUDENBURG on 18 August 1957 at Battle Creek.  Gerald is a Lutheran Minister.[34]

Children of Joan Kathryn¹² RODEKOHR and Rev. Gerald Victor FREUDENBURG are as follows:

i.  Jean Ellen¹³ FREUDENBURG was born 7 September 1959 at Springfield, Illinois.  She married Dr. Steven Gary BLANK on 5 June 1982 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Peoria, Illinois.  Steve is a Dentist.

Children of Jean Ellen¹³ FREUDENBURG and Dr. Steven Gary BLANK are as follows:

i.    Jessica Marie¹⁴ BLANK was born on 24 February 1987 at Ft. Pierce, Florida.

ii.    Casey Leigh BLANK was born 3 November 1989 at Ft. Pierce.[35]

ii.    Beth Michelle¹³ FREUDENBURG was born 9 October 1960 at Springfield, Illinois.  She married David Merlin BRAY on 11 June 1983 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Peoria, Illinois.

Children of Beth Michelle¹³ FREUDENBURG and David Merlin BRAY are as follows:

i.    Anthony¹⁴ BRAY

ii.    Jeremy BRAY

iii.   Suzanne Elizabeth BRAY was born on 29 May 1988 at Bloomington, Indiana.

iv.   Meredith Joann BREY was born 2 June 1991.[36]

iii.   Cheryl Kay¹³ FREUDENBURG was born 26 November 1962 at Springfield, Illinois.  She married Dr. Craig Paul GRIEBEL on 17 November 1984 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Peoria, Illinois. 

Children of Cheryl Kay¹³ FREUDENBURG and Dr. Craig Paul GRIEBEL are as follows:

i.    Tyler Paul¹⁴ GRIEBEL was born on  19 July 1989.

ii. Christopher Gerald GRIEBEL was born on 1 November 1990.[37]                     

iv.   Kathryn Renee¹³ FREUDENBURG was born 25 March 1967 at Grand Island, Nebraska.

v.    Gerald (Jerry) FREUDENBURG was born 26 August 1968 at Grand Island, Nebraska.[38]
